Painting with my Heart in my Hand
God is not subtle in His Creation. After all, He is the Author of Beauty, Perfection - the Universe itself. It was as a child on an east Texas farm where my love affair with nature began - from the farm animals, the flowers, the cotton bolls, the woods, fields and creeks. My days were filled with wonder! I saw God's handiwork and His creativity, as well as His sense of humor, order, playfulness, and symmetry. Creating art (Painting, specifically) is a constant challenge, but it engulfs me, makes me smile, entertains me.
If by chance through my paintings, I can inspire you to discover and create more beauty in your life, then that would be the icing on the cake for me.
It has been my delight to study with many wonderful painters, including
Dreama Tolle Perry, George Hallmark, Richard Alan Nichols, Qiang Huang, Scott Myers, Betty Carr and Judi Betts, among others.
My paintings have found new homes in private residences and commercial collections all over the USA, from coast to coast.
